Clive Barker on "The South Bank Show" originally broadcast on April 10th 1994. Sorry the audio's a bit out of sync.

  • Thanks for posting this, saw the programme when it first came out and this has brought back fond memories. This posting is especially special to me as I am now the proud owner of two of the original stop motion creatures made for the Nightbreed film and featured in this clip at 7.54 and 8.03. Respect to the talented professionals who created these amazing creatures. Here's hoping for a Nightbreed director's cut.

  • 8:24 what movie?

  • Love Clive, he is a wonderful artist, writer, but my favorite is his movies, I love a lot of his work, and he is one of my influences on writing. My favorite work by him is his Hellraiser movies. His hellraiser movies are in my favorites for movies.

  • Fantastic! The closest I got to Barker was when my brother took me to Pinewood Studios to meet Bob Keen in the flesh! Bob wanted a laserdisc at the time from my bro. It is all WRITTEN.

  • Too bad the Hellraiser movies suck so much by now

  • In the version that was released, Frank's voice and several other British performers (Oliver Parker for instance) were dubbed with American accents. Some Hellraiser trailers featured some of Sean Chapman's original dialogue before it was dubbed. Ironically Chapman gets the main credit as playing Frank when for the most part his performance was replaced. That's mainly why I'd like to see an undubbed version too. Although I guess it makes more sense for Frank to be American like Larry

  • Is there a dubbed version? All I have seen is one with English voices apart from Larry and Kirsty who have American accents. Is there footage on You Tube with different voices?

  • Nevermind - found it. Thanks again.
