This is only a part of the Yogasanam ( Yoga ) called " Surya Namaskaram" meaning Saluting the sun. If you read a good book on " Yogasanam" which is originated in India, you can understand he benefits. Well Yoga strengthens the body and mind simultaneously. If you perform " Yoga " daily, you won't have any diseases at all . But you should learn exactly , how to perform them .

Everything regular push-ups build. But it's a more complete range of motion for the shoulders -- also requires more spinal flexibility. V.good to do if you practice any grappling arts. Try alternating this with whatever push-ups you usually do to see the difference. Cheers & good health.

I trained with Steve and some of his students in Philly back in the 90's and he is the real deal as far as conditioning and fighting. He was at the forefront of the Bodyweight and Kettlebell movements. Tsatsouline would not be as far along if it wasnt for others and ESPECIALLY Steve Maxwell.

I always say that if you want to know whats the Latest and Greatest and cutting edge as far as Conditioning find out what Steve Maxwell is doing.
