On Jan. 16, 2009 a group of Arabs stood in front of the Houston Holocaust Museum carrying signs claiming genocide was happening in the middle East. Many Houstonian counter-protesters were upset and felt the protesters were trivializing a major historic event.

Israel has a right to defend themselves right..So when Israel takes Palestinian land, doesn't the local Palestinian people have a right to defend themselves?

These Palestinian protesters were protesting the GENOCIDE that Israel committed in Gaza 2009. They were not trying to denounce the Holocaust, they were protesting that what Hitler did to the Jewish people cannot justify what Israel is doing to the Palestinian people.
