thiss pistons team was one of the greatest teams I've seen in recent memory...I mean they were STACKED....Okur was on the bench....on the bench!!?!?!!.....they lost to S.A. the next year, but it wasn't the same team..they didn't have the same depth

Karl Malone thought about joining the Spurs in 2005 and they were saving a roster spot for him, if he would've went to the Spurs that year he would've had a championship, glad Gary Payton got one with Miami

Can't blame him for trying, they got close 2 years in a row, Jordan's Bulls was virtually dismantled and he still had Stockton on the team, I'd have stayed with Utah too if I were him.

If Malone would've joined the Lakers in 1999 when he had the chance he would've had a ring already. He thought he could stay with Utah and win one.
