@nekdonoben When the engine speed increases, the governor operates a latch and this locks the exhaust valve push rod and the valve is open, compression is lost and the engine slows down and the engine loses the power stroke this is called a Miss, when the engine slows down the governor latch releases the exhaust valve and the power stroke is restored this called a Hit
