LMAO This is like 80% of psych students I see. Funny but sad.

so is there any masters/PhD programme that would be applicable in the real world with good job chances and reputation or is it all just choosing the least of several evils?

Wow...if these answers came from a psychologist I feel really sorry for her patients and/or students. I am pursuing my doctorate in psychology and this video really made me think. Even though some of this information is true, I hope it doesn't discourage anyone who wants to pursue their dreams. I have spoke to a few psychologists that have their masters but, fell short of their doctorates. They tell me that the difference between a master and a doctor, is that the doctor can write.

My mom is a doctor in clinical psychology.
This cracks her up.

Dear God...this is true...I am 31 and am in my last year. Dated some mental patients too. Yay for more clinical experience!
i think what this means is do something for the love of it ---because only that will help you stick on the path , not for the results--money, fame , status ,peer approval ---self esteem can only come from within....
