Here is my 1959 Edsel Ranger with its 292 Engine equipped with a Ford two barrel 2100 carburetor. I attempt to get it started, but alas it won't stay running for long. I just had the carburetor rebuilt last week! What's wrong? Help!

  • Sounds like a fuel pump problem or clogged fuel filter. Same thing happed to my 68 polara 500 it was a bad fuel pump. Replace the fuel filter first if not that replace fuel pump next. I would check the spark plugs first too see if all are firing in all cylinders.

  • @1968DodgePolara Thanks, I'll do some tests.
