Well, being as religion and politics have committed some of the worst crimes and atrocities against human kind, my first step would be to rid the world of them.

You really are crazy if you think these powers have prevented crime... you're not in the real world!!! Like I said before, you only know God through studying history, a book... that's not where God is.
