I love me some Cole Porter!!

@JeffHendrie What the heck . . . Cole Porter wrote this in 1936 for the MGM musical Born to Dance.
So, I've added it to the 1936 playlist.
Nominated for a best song Oscar that year ! ! ! !

@JeffHendrie NICELY said, & those good feeling are the hallmark of my channel with its 550 playlists honoring 320 artists PLUS 111 lists for every year since 1900. Wish I knew the production year for this roll, I could add it to that year's playlist! I love the tempo changes in this piece.
A year ago, I put this on my player piano playlist. Thanks for responding - hope you'll check out my channel

I LIKE IT. THUMBS UP :) END OF CONVERSATION, ANYONE DISAGREES AND THEY CAN BE QUIET AND NOT LISTEN. Music is great... :)

@chkjns This is the exact reason why music is so great, it makes you feel happy to just plain be alive if it's like this, if it's sad music, it makes you feel sad, if it's scary, you get scared, it's the one thing that unlocks our feelings, and it's the greatest thing ever. Music IS feelings themselves almost. :) Mississippi paddle-steamers had hornes made like this player piano for that exact rason, it made people feel good whenever they heared the horn. :)

It must have been sheer magic to have something like this in your home a hundred years ago! The sound is so FULL of life. Thanks for sharing this icon from a long-ago time!
