Regretfully, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Musicians' Union were not able to agree on the terms of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement by the contract expiration date of August 25, 2012.

ASO Management remains committed to returning the ASO to a healthy financial position by eliminating its annual $5 million deficit and by chipping away at its $20 million in accumulated debt. We are dedicated to keeping the dialogue going with the Musicians' Union so we can work toward a resolution that will ensure that the music will go on — not just for the coming season, but for future seasons as well.

We will provide you with updates as the negotiations progress. Current details and updates are available at: http://www.atlantasymphony.org/2012mu....

Thank you for your ongoing support.
