so since canadian tire was pretty anal about bike returns, i had no choice but to keep it. and since i had to keep it, my as well use the god damn thing.

after getting use to it and all, i am pretty happy with it. its a sick looking bike, got it for 200 bucks which is "almost" a steal for a bike like this, and it works! least for urban biking

  • bought a ccm nitro xt a week ago, and u wont believe the right foot pedal already BROKE. Just like that. In addition, there's a squeaky noise i always keep hearing, and i don't know where the F*** that's coming from. Overall pretty shit bike.

Lesson: DONT BUY BIKES FROM CANADIAN TIRE! SHIT QUALITY! NO RETURN!

  • @401demon yep buy them from an actual bike shop!

i will say though after 2 years this bike is still holding up on just urban biking lol

  • @randomrazr

and whats even more retarded, its a mountain bike and i only ride it on the road, so nothing should go wrong with it. and now they say i cant return it.

do everyone a favour, tell them never to buy bikes from canadian shit tire

    nuff said.

  • @401demon dont they have atleast 14 day return policy?

since u JUST got it, id go back and speak to a manager and demand satisfaction as a valued canadian tire customer lol

  • @goathead111 I work in a bike shop, so I see the things kids working in canadian tire do. their mistakes is what keeps bikeshops in business

  • @goathead111 u have a ccm to?

  • @401demon Lol, same with my friends. These 2 guys I know both have CCM nitro's and both of them don't have a right pedal, lol. It's quite funny to see actually.

  • @SuperFunder I checked it out and realized that it needed to be adjusted because the brakes were leaning to one side. But in general, Canadian Tire mechanics are quite horrible, and it's a good idea to get it checked out by a proffesional bike shop after being purchased.

  • @goathead111 v-brakes are always better than mechanical disk brakes in the dry (hydraulic disks are a different story) take your bike to a local bike shop, you need your brakes adjusted (usually $10 a brake, depending on where you go)

  • @TheOutdoorsyman1 My disc brakes are HORRIBLE. I have CCM Apex and I heard disc brakes were better then V-brakes or any other one for example. Now whenever I press my rear brake it "snaps" and barely stops the bike. The rear brake was never good to begin with, but I don't know what that snapping sound is and the brake barely works now. Can you help me out please?

  • the reason the front brake doesn't stop very well is because if the quality because I have have a 1300$ bike and the disc brakes stop instantly
