  • Stroud would still make an axe sound great if it connected up to a couple of tin cans and a bit of string!

  • The bitch riff sounds terrible though

  • that Elliott offsett has much to do with the tone...u can hear those pickups must be unreal...killer.

  • Peter is a true guitarist. He always stays calm and does not get ahead of himself. Real cool demeanor.

  • Stroud is the bomb. Waaaayyy underrated.

  • @Whyrendog Some people have a natural ability. So many players are better at certain things then me no matter how much I try. I am not a virtuoso by any means. I play blues and blues rock, I have soul, I play with feeling (especially solos)and find good rhythmic grooves. That is my gift and it's not something you can learn. Everybody has a gift, you just have to find your niche and practice until your fingers are going to fall off. It takes years and lots of work. But EVERYBODY has something.

  • @BigDaddyblues57 I bought a Martin Stinger and a Peavey 25 watt amp because some dude plugged it in and sounded awesome. I took lessons with him and he became the manager because he sold a lot of stuff. I bought pretty much everything he showed me lol. All kinds of pedals, Rockman headphone amp, more guitars, amps, etc. Then I realized I just really needed to learn to play better because I had too much crap and still wasn't happy lol.

  • @Whyrendog I have worked in music stores in the past and one guy told me that the best way to sell and amp or guitar was to play it first and make it sound great. That's an instant sale and something I have found to be true. I have sold many items that way. A really good player can make anything sound great and an average player usually makes everything sound average. Although some times an average player as well as a great player gets inspired by great sounding equipment.
