@thia912002 The other thing about this scene is that, I think, it's the first time Canon is playing in the background. I still love that music and always will. BTW, there's someone else in my family who I think loves Canon as well, my new niece. My sister and her hubby just brought her home yesterday. They've been trying to adopt for a long while.

@QuolaFan1 Almost makes me think he was like a voyer or something.Suppose ,Quint had wanted to do more than kiss her,even though it never happened,Silas watching the whole thing creeps me out-yuck! But Quint sure looks like he enjoyed the kiss.i know Nola did,he left her breathless and wanting more.

@thia912002 This is still one of the most iconic Quinton and Nola scenes of all time.Also, as much as I like From Here to Eternity, this scene is somehow so much better. I love the humorous climax when Quinton leaves Nola in order to locate the piece of the barge she tells him about. I also always wonder if the reason the scene cuts away from the beach is to indicate that Silas is keeping an eye on their romantic moment together.

@bsheffer1 take a number,doll,we ALL wish we could have been Nola.That couple has/had the best on screen chemistry i ever seen. In a way,the are the only on screen couple I ever seen with all the right sparks together.
