Awesome 1949 Ford Coupe that's a real street sleeper. Lurking under the hood is rebuilt 429 CI big-block with two 4 bbl carburetors that's making some serious horsepower. This is a really nice car with a straight body and very good black paint job. Looking at it, you would never expect this little car to be as fast as it is. The front suspension is a Mustang II with power disc brakes while the rear suspension is a four-link with coil-overs. Power from the huge 429 is sent to a rebuilt C6 automatic and then finally to a custom narrowed Ford 9 Inch rear end. So this car is all Ford, all the way. Everything was done professionally and the car drives excellent even with it's somewhat radical specs.
Inside this car you'll find a custom interior with bucket seats, center console, and an AM/FM CD stereo. The center console is a nice custom touch and offers some storage inside it while also housing the AutoMeter gauges for water temp, oil pressure, amps, and fuel. Driving this car is an all-business experience and brings you back to what street rodding is all about--horsepower and lots of it. This is a clean car from bumper to bumper that was well thought out by it's builder. The car does come with a lot of receipts showing the tremendous amount of money that's been invested into it. If you want a late 40's Ford that's a real street brawler this is it!
