@lysel3 he would have killed it faster if he could. He did not have a good surface to get a better grip. he actually wants to kill it as quickly as possible because while he is doing this he is very exposed, to other hawks or crows (you can see him looking around the whole time). Usually they kil their food very quickly.

@gceron83 the hawk is just trying to get a meal. He cant go to the supermarket like we can. He would have killed it faster if he could have.animals eat other animals. it's the way it works. There's nothing really we can do about that. thanks for watching.

What the hell is wrong with you people. Its nature. Theres 10 million pigeons in the country. Have you ever even observed these birds ? Theyre the cows of the air , obviously only hewre for a food source.
People who are weakheart cowards and cant stomach the fact hawks kill pigeons should just kill themselves and get it over with.

@mikethebike7 humans protect these birds of prey. so we certainly can protect its victims. We humans have reach a level of conciousness and rational that we can stop nature from promoting this cruel negative behavior. and if anyone disagres then obviously im wrong about it in you that havent reach that level of development in your socalled brain.

if people think it is cruelty, remember, the hawk does not have the physical ability to kill the pigeon instantly- it is killing the pigeon as fast as it can. Hawks are not like cats which torment their prey for amusement. Neither are dogs. when you see canids appearing cruel towards prey- they also are killing the animal as fast as their ability allows. Also, remember, these animals are hungry, and NEED to kill their prey to live. Only cats and humans show true cruelty towards other animals.
