The first week of the Master in Imagineering course deals with the "New Context" - the evolution of the economy into what has recently been called an "attention economy", a "support economy" and an "experience economy".We analyse the meaning and implications of this change for strategic management of companies and organisations. Starting from the current marketing-oriented thinking and acting, we examine the translation from a transaction orientation to a transformation orientation.
