@THEEGUY89 depends on what kind of fishing you plan to do like if you are planning on bobber and eggs or bobber and kigs you will need a different type of rod than saiy if you are wanting to go out and throw lures and spinners.
all salmon fisherman wish there was a rod that does it all but sadly there isnt. talk to the rod builder and he will help you pick a good bland and all the hardware for your type of fishing.

well, you should get a nice long rod, maybe 8.6 feet - 9.6 feet, uhm, a very sensitive tip, and a very strong backbone, a long cork handle for comfort and support also, you can check out my video called, My New salmon rod!
