M.LAVINASHREE, THE WORLD'S YOUNGEST RED HAT CERTIFIED ENGINEER (LINUX) AT THE AGE OF 10 !!!

M.Lavinashree has now achieved the feat of becoming the youngest Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) in the world at her age of 10, by successfully completing the entire Red Hat Certified Engineer program requirements through prometric examination at HCL CDC, Madurai, Tamilnadu and is now globally certified a "RED HAT CERTIFIED ENGINEER". She has passed the examination with a splendid over all score of 178.1 out of 200 under strict invigilation. M.Lavinashree, being a minor (under the age of 18), was given a special permission from the head office of Red Hat that is located at Mumbai. According to the Red Hat Global Learning Services Parental Consent form for Minors, all minors must have their parent complete the consent and faxed to the Red hat prior to enrollment. As per the instructions mentioned in the consent form for minors, Lavinashree was given a special permission to attend the RHCE Examination with the consent of the parent and eventually she came out successfully with wonderful marks, adding feathers to her cap. Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a three and a half hours performance-based test that measures actual competency on live systems. Called the "crown jewel of Linux certifications," RHCE proves an individual's ability to configure networking services and security on servers running on a Red Hat OS. World Wide Web browsers like Google, Yahoo and other popular web browsers are designed with the Red Hat OS. RHCE was recently named "the hottest certification in all of IT certifications". This examination is usually attempted at only by the technically qualified elders like graduates in B.E, MCA, M.B.A and B.Tech, etc. But Lavinashree emerged as a shining star amidst the other students and is globally certified as "Red Hat Certified Engineer", which can undoubtedly be adjudged as an outstanding achievement. Red Hat Certified Engineer (LINUX)

RHCE is an acronym standing for Red Hat Certified Engineer. The RHCE acronym is a professional designation used to indicate the individual holds an industry recognized Linux certification. The RHCE is a mid to advanced-level certification that builds on topics covered in Red Hat's lower certification, the RHCT to include more advanced topics such as security and installing common enterprise networking (IP) services. Over 30,010 people have achieved the RHCE certification to date.
To achieve the Red Hat Certified Engineer certification, the student must pass RH302, a 3.5 hour hands-on lab exam. This is the only exam required to achieve the certification. There is no prerequisite for the exam, but Red Hat recommends students have substantial real-world system administration experience before taking the exam.
The exam consists of two sections. One section covers troubleshooting and system maintenance and lasts approximately two-and-a-half hours, while the other covers installation and configuration and lasts approximately three hours.
Effective since May 1, 2009, the RHCE exam has become a single section lasting 3.5 hours. Previously the exam consisted of two sections of 2.5 and 3.0 hours.
RHCE consists of three courses -- RH033, RH133, RH253 -- and is aimed at persons who need more review of key concepts or who are new to both UNIX and Linux.

• RH033 Red Hat Linux Essentials targets IT professionals with no prior UNIX or Linux experience, and covers skills to prepare for RH133, including shell and command line essentials.

• RH131 and RH133 Red Hat System Administration are designed for those wanting to prepare for professional responsibilities as a Linux systems administrator at the Technician level. Prerequisites include networking fundamentals and internetworking with TCP/IP, widely available from reputable training vendors or through self-study. RH133 includes the RHCT Exam on the last day.

• RH253 Red Hat Linux Networking and Security Administration is designed for those who desire to build skills at configuring and administering a Red Hat Linux server running key enterprise network services and security. Prerequisites include RH133 or equivalent skills.

  • @5478926 In fact, Lavinashree became the youngest Microsoft certified professional (MCP) in the world at the age of eight - in 2008 - with a first class score of 842 out of 1000. Nevertheless, Arfa Randhawa's achievements will surely motivate many young Pakistanis.

BTW, search the following on net to confirm about the record:

'President springs a surprise on Lavinashree - The Hindu'

  • @5478926 Arfa held that record between 2004 to 2008. 'The Hindu' is the most authentic newspaper in India & infinitely times more accurate than any Paki newspaper. And Indian president don't meet & reward people without confirming from the best sources available. In 2010, Lavinashree also became the world’s youngest Red Hat Certified Engineer. Search:

'Lavinashree has registered her mark Deccan Chronicle'

  • @loduuu1 Pakistan became country 60 years ago and India was there from 7000 years muslims came to india 1000 year ago.. its just the beginning for us and if you want to know what we did in last 1000 years then list wont fit here... your population is over billion around 1300 million ours is like 170 million if you compare its like 1 Pakistani for every 13 or 14 Indians so don't tell me Indians have changed the face of this world this that and yea they did so many things i don't say they didn't

  • @loduuu1arfa didn't get any media attention I didn't even know about her till her death.. now you are blaming media ? that media gave her attention this that ? are you serious ? and we wont understand that ? how old are you man ? stop being so emotional...

  • @5478926 It has nothing to do with Arfa's death - as these reports predated that. Few Pakistani news reports & Wikipedia also acknowledge that Arfa held the record until 2008. But as Pakis have no positive contribution in anything good, Arfa got so much media coverage. Whereas in India nobody cares about this pathetic memory based exam - & that's why nobody cares about Lavinashree. But, as usual, a Paki won't understand that. BTW, even the core mechanism of IT was developed by Indians.

  • @loduuu1 yea thats possible because arfa died and now she the youngest MCP...and arfa karim also got an award from Pakstani President and prime minister....and i know you are gona say your media is the only truth and our is the shit soo lets throw your and my media out of the conversation...and type " worlds youngest Microsoft Certified Professional" in google :)

  • @loduuu1 thats not true brother thats what i am saying its your media who says she is youngest MCP somewhere they say 10 now i heard you saying its 8... i will say please check white peoples news not your own hindu times or muslim times just search what on record not our record in white peoples record...google arfa karim
