Not only am i proud to be an ADVENTIST..... I am also proud to be a HAITIAN. T o actually see some sort of organized body in haiti means hope, and I am happy to know that this SDA church led the way! Praise be to God!

(Just thought my brothers and sisters in the faith, as well as other interested folk, might want the official word from the main Adventist website, since there seems to be many variants out there, including the bizarre; "7th Day Adventists.") ;)

Just thought I'd clarify, its ADventist, not adVENTist. (Yes, there is an official pronunciation, even if many church members don't know it.) Oh, and while we're at it, its spelled Seventh-day Adventist, with the first part hyphenated, and a lowercase "d," not capital. Also when abbreviating, "Adventist" is preferred over "SDA."

Our small SDA church held a bake sale to send the proceeds to ADRA. The local newspaper just "happened to stop by" and recorded the event. If we serve Christ we can't help but be noticed. Praise God. It gives me hope that this world can be reached.
