@Bisquack Yeah, you know what? Feminism and gay rights are like SO nineties. I mean, it's such a ridiculous notion that women are people, right? It's not as if women get paid less than men for doing the same job, get raped in volume every day, or get beaten with the flat of an iron in their homes! And it's crazy how folks think this new-fangled thing called love between two people should actually be allowed! Who cares if gay people get beat to death in Texas with crowbars? At least we got OLN!

Honestly, I don't understand some of the mindless ramblings on here. All I can say is this: if you don't want others to impose their views on you, don't impose your views on them. It's that simple. Unfortunately the christian talibans are ruining everything for everybody and so we live in a society were homophobia is not only tolerated but celebrated. It has got to change.

The thing about this that disturbs me is not so much that it was raised -- although it does seem irrelevant -- but that she was clearly not entitled to her opinion. It was a question that in the eyes of the asker (as well as the eyes of many others apparently) had only one right answer. That's how minority perspectives get translated into non-minority perspectives --> by discrediting the majority opinion to such a great degree that it cannot be spoken without punishment.

I talked about this at length on my show today. I am convinced that the show's producers brought Perez Homo to the show FOR JUST THIS REASON. The controversy was ORCHESTRATED for ratings. The pageant has been in the ratings dumper for a long time now. Why else would you have such a nasty, unlikable homosexual lunatic on the show? Hell, you could have hired all kinds of likable homosexuals - Ellen Degeneres would be a much better choice just because she's not a bitter, nasty homosexual.
