  • mashaAllah bahut khoob raag kalavati is such a beautiful scale it is amazing

  • great

    legends

    classics

  • Amongst his contemporaries Ustad Amanat Ali Khan was the most melodious. What a great rendition of the classical singing by two legends.

  • i heard this first time and it has taken my breathe away..................simply top class, two maestros at work

  • very nice.

  • Great, simply awesome

  • these voices never come back no body can sing this song

  • Noor Jehan ( very aptly named so ) was a dedicated singer who did her Riyaz until the last day. She was an institution and so was Ustad Amanat Ali Khan sahib. It is sad that such great musicians are gone, although many other singers have learnt from these two giants of Music.

  • If I am not mistaken this is the first juganbandi in raag Kalavati between NoorJehan & Asad Amanat Khan Sahib. While listening to this fabulous melody you would observe (if you can distinguish the power of classical touch) with a naked eye that this sort of calibre in classical way of singing belongs to our beloved Late Madam Noor Jehan Tell me who else could sing? Who can setsuch examples?Absolutely no one can. Variations and the twist in a fraction of a second is immortal. (19th February 2011)
