Carrie Singing Alone

I've consistently been trying to watch every episode of AI Season 5 this year, and because of my interest in the show, I started to reminisce on the old AI seasons. Browsed around and came across Carrie Underwood performing Alone in one of her concerts...

Alone was originally popularized by Heart in the 80s and the song is really good if you want to practice your vocal chords... hehe...

This song also reminds me of my trip to Las Vegas when my cousins, my nephew and I were singing at home... I remember thinking about a certain someone as I was singing this song... oh well...

actually, moving the microphone away from you is so you get an equal volume intake so that whoever is working sound doesn't have to constantly fluctuate the volume on your microphone :-)

Wow you have no clue what singing is? Holding the microphone away from your mouth is just so it doesn't sound like your screaming. If it's to close it will make anyone sound terrible. And yeah she can hit the notes.

the arrange they made for AI was amazing, i like it better than original, maybe that and her great voice work perfect! her best performance of course.

I saw Heart in concert back in 1987 when I was 18 in Chicago. I always thought that Ann and Nancy Wilson should be the only one to see this song. Well Carrie sounds awesome and performed this song beautiful.

Alone is one of my favorite songs..I like Melissa..but Melissa can not touch Carrie's version!! Carrie's version is right up there with the original!

Believe it or not..I picked this song for Carrie. As soon as she auditioned, I told my mother Carrie should sing that song!!

I love Carrie singing Alone. When she sang it on AI it sent chills over me. She came to my arena in August, let me tell you, she was spectacular! She did not sing Alone though, wish she had, but Carrie is just beautiful, lost so much weight since AI! She had the whole package, unbelievable!! Wish Carrie would make this her next 'single' she would sell many many CD's.
