this is an Electronic DESIGN ISSUE, 100 US it is TOO MUCH for a electronic card !!! if you remove all the electronics component on board I am almost sure don´t cost more than 25 USD.

You can thank the EPA's dumb a--'s for making the appliances so weak and easy to brake plus the manufactures being cost effective making EVERYTHING plastic!

You can forget about getting 25 years out of a refrigerator built today, no doubt it's packed with Chinese junk. I couldn't even get 3 months out of 2 pairs of (now made in China) Wolverine boots. They can't even do rubber right. By the way the soles of those boots cracked in half, you'd think they were cooking in the Iraqi sun for 25 years.. They're probably using rubber from old car tires. But there is an upside, you guys are going to be in business for years to come..
