@PaladinofCadia Yeah, the space marines won in the fist one. And a codex can't be non-canon as it doesn't follow a specific plot line. Also, in the DoW book Brom turns traitor, but he didn't in DoW the game. Just saying. Ask just about any DoW fan, and almost all of them will say that the Eldar had the canon ending in winter assault.

@Arkaeya They didn't win the first one. Anyways, I'm not argueing.The fact the book was written after the games is proof that is would be correct. Meaning that if you don't follow the books then you can just scrap DOW 2's story completely. Also, by that logic, the new necron codex is non-canon, as Piriahs now never existed.

@PaladinofCadia First off, the book was written after the games, so it doesn't properly follow them. Second, Alexander is after Taldeer for destroying the titan. And in the Winter Assault story, when the eldar destroy the titan Sturnn dies in the explosion. Also, the developers said that they didn't want every cannon ending to be the Imperials winning, as they don't always win.
