I think it would be very cool to do alternative modes:
One alternative mode would be to use trumpet fingerings instead, and... have it play the overtone series instead of major/minor chords (trumpet/horn fingerings are all the same combinations, just in a different order... :-)
Another alternative would be to use harp "fingerings", that is, a "pedal" for each diatonic pitch, that latches the note natural, sharp, or flat (but real harps have seven pedals).
I'll have a look a the code...

@ortseamym that's a great idea - i don't have any but i've thought about trying just what you suggest. the new AirHarp is class compliant and by far the most ergonomic yet. Light Harp Industries is now known as "Lyratron". there are more vids of the new AirHarp on the Lyratron web site / YouTube channel. ;?)

@ejayerik the board dimensions are 3.3" x 1.4". IC pin spacing is the standard 0.1". if you check the AirHarp photo gallery, the board diagram has a 0.1" grid overlay. this should give you an accurate picture of the placement of key components. :?)
