This a tribute to Ginger.

Black Beauty; a Classic in the world of horses. The Autobiography of a Horse, first published November 24, 1877) is Anna Sewell's only novel, composed in the last years of her life between 1871 and 1877 while confined to her house as an invalid.
These clips were taken from the Black Beauty (1994 film). Docs Keepin Time was the horse that starred as Black Beauty.

omg i loved it it was one of the best Ginger tribute videos i've seen. you now they should make a book and movie about ginger's perspective and wat her life was like.

The worst is this: we're no further on from the time when Anna Sewell wrote the novel in terms of people's attitude to horses. They are still called 'naughty', mares are 'stroppy' or 'typically chestnut'.

Here in England people never learn to ride - they just swap to stronger bits. You cannot go to a show without seeing whips in zealous use and that look of ruin in the horse's eye.

I think that is the true tragedy of Ginger - a century later, she is still being ruined by people.

I love the movie and book!!! It is my fav!!! This is lovely I teared up alittle when I see her on the wagon dead being taken away. And when they pull her to the ground. I love this song!!! Awesome!!! 8D

@Cazamelia yes s/he was. I always find it kind of humorous that Ginger was played by a gelding. Black Beauty was played by Docs Keepin Time, who also played "The Black" in The New Adventures of the Black Stallion (which aired in the early Nineties), he also played along side High Tower in the Horse Whisperer as Gulliver.

Great Tribute to Ginger, its horrible what happens to her. In the book you find out why she is so bad tempered to begin with, and after learning the way she was treated I can fully understand why....she had every reason to distrust humans, I think Burtwick park was the only home she ever got treated with kindness. :(

I read somewhere that Ginger was played by HighTower (Pilgrim in the Horse Whisperer. )
