Mona Eltahawy: How dare you depict what looks like a naked woman in niqaab. This imagery is below the Muslims. This is incredibly disrespectful first and foremost to the One you claim to worship, and then those who subscribe to this way of life. Do not blaspheme in your effort to call attention to worthy causes. The hijab in Islam is an obligation in our religion not to be mocked by any one calling themselves a muslim, mocking the religion is an act of kufr.

Oh my god, a civil debate, I don't think I've actually seen one where the two people respecting each other. These were very valid points.

Amazing how pleasant debates can be without both parties trying to yell over each other.

Nope that's not what she meant. She meant we as people should care about children nation-wise. Parents shouldn't be the only ones to uplift children although they're the first. Teachers, pastors, firemen, police officers, and others are our children's role models. They look up to us. Yes, we have the right to make sure that children won't fail. We want our children to be successful. If you can't understand that, then there's something seriously wrong with you

You are apparently unaware of what she has said in other instances, it is very clear she believes that the state has authority over decisions made for childen by their parents.

MHP using the words, "that was a real war." I picture her Chris Hayes, Ed Schultz and Chris Mathews being in charge of defending our country. She would still be trying to convince a hardened Taliban fighter that he should respect women more as he is slitting her throat. Get a clue. There is no Utopian world where every kid gets his own unicorn and everyone picks fresh veggies together and everyone's home is the same color, size and shape.

No, that's not what she meant. You're twisting her words. She's saying that we should help children, period! They're our future and we are their only hope to get them in where they want to be.
