  • o really? how come i don't see any video of you playing trumpet on your videos?

  • I just love these comments that they're not that good..... Especially when the poster says they can do better, but don't post anything to back it up. I'm still waiting to see something from m4dclaw.........

And as has been said before, these aren't trumpets. They're using G bugles.

Oh and BTW..... your brother really shouldn't be posting under your account. Let him make his own account.

  • hahaha very well said kmabru. those people have no idea who The Future Corps is.

  • Exactly timpanista. They have no idea who the guys are, where they're from or what drum corps used to be.

If anyone says it's not good, I wonder if they can do better. If they say they can, I want to see proof.. and not just on a trumpet. Let's see them do it on a G bugle.

The videos are great but don't do the group justice. First saw them in 1990. When I rounded the corner, I was amazed at the sound of just three drummers and 10 horns (missing 1 contra). Was expecting a bigger group.

  • you're lucky u saw them live. i never had the chance to saw them live but i had the privilege of working with the lead trumpet Bob Franklin and the bass drum player Paul Collins during the opening of hong kong disneyland. they're not just great musician but nice people too.

  • @Fragite They're playing on G bugles which are harder to play than standard Bb brass. They also will always have a different tonal quality regardless of the ability of the players. G bugles have a raspier tone. Also, if I remember correctly, these are prototype 3 valved horns.

As for your comment on recognizing when someone isn't very good... are you saying they weren't very good? These guys are pros and most if not all came from Top 12 DCI corps.

  • :( spell check

  • Peggy... Yessss they have a kick ass low brass section supporting the trumpets

  • @gamesharks8912 I actually kind of agree. While they are good with technicals, their tone is pretty bad.

To everyone telling gameshark to "post a reply video," it doesn't take someone who can actually DO better to recognize someone who isn't very good.

  • Awesome! I think they sound very good for the size for the group. I'm a drummer and played this at my high school's music talent show in the jazz ensemble...so much fun to play. when was this filmed?

  • @kmabru and the G bugle is much harder to play then the standard Bb trumpet

  • geez this is amazing hahaha top horn player probably gives him self a aneurism playing this lol props thou.. mega props and haters stop hating cause you will never be this good

  • Classic.

  • gamesharks8912 was the one Dislike.

  • @gamesharks8912 If you were really good, you wouldn't have felt a need to put down other trumpet players.
