Oh, and laugh out loud at the School Bus speeding in an active school zone, that was priceless.

25 Miles in a school zone that is "active" meaning children are out and about, is perfectly reasonable. It does save lives. Kids can do very silly things like dart out between park cars, and all kinds of things. This allows an "alert driver" to react normally in time to prevent something tragic. Some signs, go as far as to give actual hours one must do the 25 speed limit even if not a single child is present. To people grumbling, just do the 25, it's barely for a mile anyway!

Obviously TVman1981 doesn't know anything about engineering, and how it is excessive speed that contributes to accidents, not going over a limit posted 20 mph too low. If you're sick of this bullshit, visit the national motorists association at motorists (dot) org

@sociopathicregret... Thank you for answering that question youself ..I am not an "engineer" and have no intention to become one .....the segment is called "People Behaving Badly " not how to propertly engineer a street so cars can drive faster. And even if I were a "Engineer" and cited my findings about traffic flow and speed verses distance there would someone to offer a counter claim... So I will leave the "Engineering" to the experts and stick to only what I can see with my two eyes.
