I've always loved this song. It even inspired part of an instrumental piece I wrote on 12-string guitar. Jewel is very talented and very intelligent. She's quite an incredible person with wisdom and great depth.

jewel's whole pieces of you album is one of my favorite albums of all time..the lyrics on that album..her voice the music..it still too this day hits me right in my 'soul''..makes me tear up with overwhelming emotion ..such a pure raw album with so much poured into it.
