@JonnyCashmore yeah. and it was partially Yoko's fault too because she kept coming to the studio with John and the other Beatles didn't like that. The Beatles are my family's favorite band.

No...the real story is Brian died. But you all understand that of course.....

This is the Compleat Beatles from 1982, not rare.
It was on TV all the time in the late 80s.

@zeromant80 In '73 there was that Lennon interview w/Elliott Mintz from Nov. 1, 1973 walking across Mailibu Beach. John seemed to speak favorably about a reunion during that 18 month split w/Yoko. In 1979 Sid Bernstein took out a full page ad in a NYC newspaper imploring the Beatles to reunite on behalf of the "Boat People." Lennon referred to it as "Jewish schmaltz." I never got the impression during the last five years of his life that John was too keen on a reunion. Maybe had he lived longer.

@GVike reunite (spell check)

Man, Yoko gets so much f-ing heat for the split. In the end you had 4 people that 1-grew into different people with different goals/curiosities/interests and 2-as the doc said all four Beatles were facing the truth of the home married life. Could they have reunited? Probably especially since at some point they would have been given a ridiculous monetary offer to renuite.

@SOLISDEUS I wasn't freeing himself from legal agreements. The only way Paul could get out of having Klein on his solo records was to sue the Beatles. He did not want to breakup the band but did not have a choice.
The real reason they broke up is that they fought over who would have the last slice of pizza. John was really hungry after recording "7 Hours of Silence" in the studio. He had to make sure no one made any sounds while recording it. But Paul said he should get the last slice since he paid for it. George complained that they never gave him a slice and Ringo never shared his pizza. So they broke up and sued each other over the matter. That's the real story....lol

Back in 73' John was talking about reuniting with the band again. back in the 80s John and Paul used to talk to each other on telephone and they were discusing and talking about stuff, among them reuniting again with the band, and they stood the best of mates. that reunion were possible if it wasn't for Mark Chappman :(
