Blackbird recorded at Abbey Road Studios(cover)

New edit my version of Blackbird--recorded at Abbey Road Studios january 9th 2001.
It's recorded in Studio 2. It took me three attempts to make it right. ( I was very nervous) We were a lot of people in the studio that day: Michael and John Phillips (and their wifes), The counterfeit Beatles, Some American doctors(I've forgotten their names), Will Mulholland and some others.

I must confess: This video is the *only* reason I emailed Abbey Road about my project's booking for next year. Surprisingly enough, it's within budget, so guess who gets to 90% for sure go to London to record an album at Abbey Road?

pretty cool, but ultimately a pointless ego trip in my opinion, not to mention a vanity project...why not do your own music?

What would you record if you happened to be in Abbey road studio?

Of course it was an egotrip. Wasn´t meant to be anything else.

I loved it - it was one of the greatest moments of my life.

Other would chose to sit in a Ferrari, take a ride with a Flying Fortress, pararachute tandem etc.

How much did it cost to hire the studio?

At that point it was aprox 3000 US pr day.

We were some people splitting the cost.

If you contact Abbey Road booking, they´ll let you know todays price
