What is so entertaining about drag queens and why does every gay pride parade have to have them or lose its credibility? Straights used to dress up as women because it was silly, then people got more sophisticated. Drag queens do it for other reasons, but the end result is similar: boring!

I think you missed my point. My point is that ANY parade needs to provide entertainment. Rose Parade has the floats, the Thanksgiving Day parade has musical numbers from Broadway and huge balloons...this gay parade had people in t-shirts walking the streets...if I want to see that I can go to any strip of gay bars in America any day of the week and see the same thing. Is dull really pride?

Wanting badly to be seen as normal and just like everybody else! We ARE normal but we are not like everybody else! A lot of my generation of gay have deficient knowledge or appreciation for what the more MATURE gays have sacrificed! I hope this changes!?!?!
