Bonga can ride anything and make it look EASY. Strongest surfer in the water today.

Bonga shows amazing style. I grew up longboarding, made the transition to shorties but I really enjoy watching the SUP because you can noseride and all that good stuff. And the paddle seems to add something - another control. I think its very cool.

too bad you dont know him cus he rarely ever SUP's. the only time i see him doing it. is when its BIG (6-8ft. +), contest(makahiki-the BUFF's or any SUP events) or he's doing a photo/video shoot. other than that he rather be riding his LB, fish, towing in, spending time wit the fam bam at haleiwa or having a few wit the boys in the parking lot at haleiwa.

@johnnylifelive , there are 'goons' on every type of floatation device. If you know how to use it properly and have respect, it doesn't matter what you ride.

Too bad so many surfers complain, if they only tried it they would find you catch more waves and you dont need surf to have a good time. So try it before grumble.
