I'd love to see the level where you have to make it to the door in three steps.

@ajcruickshank87 Are you trolling? That was his very first project.

ME FUCKING GUSTA

you should do the entire Dark side of the moon album... I have a feeling it would sound amazing!

Is it just me, or do the stars on the flag look like Commander Video from BIT.Trip?

@omglolwtfmudkips He probably means the gym teacher they named the band after. After all, the bulk of the original band died a while ago.

Lynyrd Skynyrd isn't a guy, it's a band.

Shame you can't control the triangle volume...at least not without modulating it with the DPCM channel, which I don't know if Famitracker even supports. Anyway, loved the bass work, even if it was necessarily overbearing at times.
Also, despite the limited waveforms, it's amazing how styles can shine through. I can easily tell the same person wrote this and Dark Side.

@Whelkman Famitracker does have a command for that now. I do the mixing separately though (e.g. you may notice this track is stereo), so I wouldn't use it for that. Mostly I just try to get the balance tolerable on a couple of different headphone/speaker setups I have available, and try not to stray too far from the "NES sound".

@Sakanakao Thanks for the prompt reply. As for "NES sound", you have a point. I can't name a single title (official, unlicensed, or pirate) that uses this effect, not even among the comparatively experimental European composers.

@Whelkman Actually, you don't need to look any further than the original Super Mario Bros for an example of controlling triangle volume with the DMC channel. It gets set to $00 or $30 at the beginning of each song depending on whether it wants a quieter triangle. Between tunes it will smoothly ramp to the other value to avoid the pop. (I haven't seen it anywhere else yet.)
