ukp42's asking how can you check the programmes your webcam is using

can any one help me please? Am trying to use my webcam on nsm, but it says that the webcam is used by another programme? I dont know how to change this?

I don't know how to solve that problem. I had the same with I added a new webcame from Microsoft. All problems were solved then I bought a new Philips camera. Sorry I can't be of help.

Your webcam probably came with software. You need to open the webcam settings and check there what other program is using it maybe. I'm guessing?

my advice would be unplug your camera and then restart your computer then plug it back in
