@kevinlongwood well, adding an extra half twist is not an easy thing to do specially when a gymnast is pushing her 20s. It is also believed that the ankles resent the impact during the landing so much that it is better for some gymnasts to save it for big events only.

@kevinlongwood alicia said that she's finding it hard to land forward that's why she doesn't upgrade her DTY to an Amanar. Maybe if she can pull a triple..but that's too hard to do (for the girls)..

I honestly don't understand why she never upgraded since 2004. She always finishes her twisting so early. She has more time to land than Mustafina, Shawn Johnson or Nabieva yet she can't do an Amanar. I hope we'll see upgrading next year!
