By overwhelming popular request I gladly present to you ... well, okay ... just 1 of my friends suggested I put together a brief tour of my railroad empire, so that viewers like you could see how it's laid out--the track plan, building, roads and so forth. This is a 12'x6' HO scale layout, on Kato sectional track, sitting on five 3'x4' plywood sections. And since you're here, check out my channel page (by clicking on the icon or ibiubuok at the top of this column)--see if you're "Addicted to Trains or Model Trains." (By the way, I'm thankful to "Bramptonrailfan" for his suggestions. Check out his videos. They're good!) Your comments & ratings are welcomed. Oh yes -- I'm sorry about the "typo" on 1 of my subtitles -- it got past me. Anyway, thanks so much for watching and please stop by again!

  • I'm using the same adhesive backed roads for my layout. What did you use for areas that needed pieces that they don't make? Someone told me that 1200 grit wet sandpaper might be a good match but I have yet to try it out.

  • @crazyfvck Thanks for taking time to look at my layout and for your comment. For the larger "unlined" areas (like small parking lots), I used several strips of unlined Busch roads placed parallel to each other. Although I haven't tried grit wet sandpaper, that also sounds like a good idea. Thanks again for stopping by!

  • hey this is nice -i tried running ho but there hard for me to see imm over 50=so i had to go to the o guage but i still have the ho

  • @The1snarky Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment . I know what you mean about working with the various model railroad scales. I'm amazed with those who model Z scale. Thanks again!

  • I'm so dissapointed. I expect more.

  • @AlcoholicSemenStain Since my video wasn't what you were expecting, check out the videos my subscribers have made. They're even better than mine!

  • @teddybeareleventeen Thanks for taking the time to stop by and leaving a comment. I'm glad you found the bird's eye view helpful. It's the vantage point I enjoy when I see other people's railroads, too. Thanks again for your kind words.

  • That is a great layout you've got there Charlie! The bird's eye tour was perfect!

  • Thanks for stopping by and letting me give you a tour of my layout. I thought it was a nifty idea too. I hope you'll visit again.

  • Good work on video. That was a great idea on the building signs. Nice layout.
