Do you have an MP3 of that arrangement of the Doctor Who theme? And if so, would you mind sharing it?
Excellent work BTW, I'd actually love to see a Doctor Who game which featured David Tennant as the Doctor.

If I'm not mistaken, is that vortex effect actually Ganondorf's waves of darkness from Ocarina of Time?

@GoateeMan No, but I kinda wish I did use that. I did some old school style 3-D rendering of a hollow tube with a texture I created then rendered it at a limited palette of colors to simulate a Mode 7 effect.

@DoctorOctoroc to make it look better use the apple compression (.mov) and set the codec to .gif or web-safe.

@TheMichaelkirkland That would probably make it more accurate to the SNES's rendering of the colors - the only problem is I'd have to render just the vortex that way, render it, then add the names and other effects - otherwise, the colors in the vortex itself would shift too noticeably when other objects come on screen and add colors to the total. Unfortunately, .mov files render frame by frame so the color scheme is chosen per frame, not for the full animation.
