Justine Bihamba Masika shares her experiences living in eastern Congo and what motivated her to create Synergie des Femmes pour les Victimes de Violences Sexuelles (SFVS). SFVS is a coalition of 35 womens organizations that work to help sexual violence victims and mobilize women around the struggle to end sexual violence in Congo. Justines work has put her in dangerous situations, but she continues to fight for her cause and hopes that her story will encourage others to get involved in ending sexual violence against Congolese women and girls.
