Vlogging Tips 2; Scripts, Backgrounds & More with Blunty3000

Part 2 of 5.

This time; hints on Scripts, notes and improv, which background to use and more.

Video was recorded with the Sony Bloggie, and no effects or colour correction/grading etc were applied so you can get a pretty good idea about how the camera is performing naively & unaltered, all audio from onboard mic. The raw files (mp4) were dumped right from the camera into FCP and was edited without needing any conversion or messing about.

And if you're wondering why the hand-held shots look way shakier than they should, well it was user error (too much caffeine, almost no sleep in the last three days, blisteringly hot day, and forgetting to turn on steady shot, heh) I had some much nicer shots hand-held while testing the camera, and in part 3 I'll be covering steadying your shots :)

What are your preferences for editing? I see a lot of youtubers do a lot of cutting, my guess is cutting out the 'umm's' and 'awkward moments' and distractions in the background like you said. But how much editing is too much editing?
