Confessions Of A Scentoholic

I love fragrance!
A side effect of this that I have an unnecessary collection of them.

Last night I was organizing my cabinet and, to my dismay, discovered I have more than a dozen fragrances. I thought I would share some observations on each one.

Below are cut 'n paste descriptions of the fragrance notes from the web, either from the perfumer's website, or Sephora.com.

(1) Juicy Couture
Notes: Watermelon, mandarin, pink passionfruit, marigold, green apple, water hyacinth, crushed leaves, tuberose absolute, wild rose, princess lily, caramel crème brulée, vanilla, precious woods and patchouli.

(2) M.A.C. Creations MV3
Notes: Bergamot, jasmine, vetiver, vanilla, leather, amber crystals, tolu balsam wood.

(3) Clarins Eau Ensoleillante (Sunshine Fragrance)
Notes: Sicilian mandarin, grapefruit, ylang ylang, tonka bean, patchouli, watermelon, griffonia seeds, mimosa, linden and chamomile.

(4) Viktor and Rolf's Flowerbomb
Notes: Sambac Jasmine, Centifolia Rose, Cattleya Orchid, Ballerina Freesia, Patchouli.

(5) Chloe Eau de Parfum
Notes: Pink Peony, Freesia, Lychee, Magnolia Flower, Lilly of the Valley, Rose, Cedarwood, Amber, Honey.

(6) Daisy, by Marc Jacobs
Notes: Strawberry, Violet Leaves, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Gardenia, Violet Petals, Jasmine Petals, Musk, Vanilla, White Woods.

(7) Bare Skin Eau de Parfum, The Perfume Diaries, by Leslie Blodgett
Notes:
Top: Black Pepper, Freesia, Anise
Middle: Iris, Vanilla Orchid, Plumeria, Patchouli
Bottom: Sandalwood, Labdanum, Musk

(8) Alabaster, by Banana Republic
Notes:
Top: Lotus
Middle: Wild rose
Bottom: White musk

(9) Something about Sophia, by Benefit Cosmetics
Notes: Mango, freesia, lily, jasmine, peony, white caramel, musk and vanilla.

(10) Love, Etc., by The Body Shop
Notes: Pear, neroli, bergamot, jasmine, heliotrope, lily of the valley, vanilla, sandalwood and creamy musk.

(11) Dream Angels Heavenly, By Victoria's Secret
Top notes: quince, cardamom
Middle notes: white peony, freesia
Low notes: white musk, sandalwood, vanilla

(12) Clean, by Clean
Notes: Litsea cubeba, orange, sweet lime, pink grapefruit, passion lily, rose geranium, and white musk.

(13) Infusion D'Iris, by Prada
Notes: Mandarin, orange blossom, galbanum, iris, incense, benzoin, cedar, lentisc and vetiver.

I hope this is interesting/helpful as you sniff out your next fragrance!

@mohammadalmana Thanks Mohammad. Yes, I am OLD. LOL Meanwhile, I should not have said it smells like "old lady". That might be offensive to some. What I was trying to convey is that I find it strong and too floral, and it reminds me of some older scents, or scents that I associates with "older" people when I was young.

@Hwangers24 I wish to Clarify. It's on the website, but it's showing as "SOLD OUT". So perhaps it is not discontinued after all?
