@Jhananda My point was to make WVO out of the tinker room & mainstream to mom lol Imo filters like the one's you are using are the 90's tech. The next gen. is a centrifuge, a mini 55 GPH (60 GPH more stout) can be had for $130, add a trash picked 1/2 hp pump (thru an onboard dc-ac inverter 2k/4k less than $100 & has loads of other uses as well, a couple of gear pumps, some hydraulic lines & hoses, The gravity fed tripod versions are pricey but seem to dewater better & have ample particulate room

Quite a contraption! I'd be the rage is I chugged along with that setup! Personally seems like a bit overkill, any clue of the apr. weight?
What is your take on centrifuges, mainly the small pressure (onboard) variety but also the 15-30 & 50-150 GMH tripod versions respectively?
I prefer simple, electrical/mechanical V.S. exasperating handiwork.

@Begbucks while the apparatus on the back of my van is a bit large and unsightly, it is nonetheless the smallest waste oil to diesel fuel processor I am aware of.
centrifuges are fine, but my process does not seem to require one.
I agree, I too prefer simple, electrical/mechanical V.S. exasperating handiwork, that is why I built the system I have that is attached to the rear of my van.

@Jhananda Still too complicated, why the tanks on the left, the tripple filters, the plumbing, etc Simple is a pour of filthy oil down the tank, sludge, water, food waste, glycerin & all have the system filter out while driving with no operator input. You are just too involved Centrifuges seem far simpler than the old school throwaway membrane filters (I'd just retain a couple rotors on hand to swap out & hand over to some maid for cleaning lol) once clean though blending sounds like a fine idea

@Begbucks actually, if you just dump dirty waste oil into your fuel tank, then you will be plugging your filters in not time, and your fuel tank will end up with sludge in it. And, when you use a centrifuge you will find that they are expensive, and typically require the fuel to be pre-filtered. I do not go through any filters in my process, because some of that "complicated" equipment I use is used to regenerate my filters in situ by back-flushing them
