@DREwestcoast I was in high school in the eighties and I was already a conservative by the time Rush came along. Every day after school I'd watch Donahue. You could say my politics were formed watching his show. No one could slice and dice Donahue and his audience quite like George Will. The guy was outstanding. I wish I had videotapes of the shows he appeared on.

@DREwestcoast; 9 out of 10 people have a pre-conceived notion about Rush. They don't realize who they're dealing with and can't accept they've been intellectually steamrollered, so they turn into trained seals in desperation. You can see in the audience's faces they know he's a force to be reckoned with, but it's like they've been sort of brainwashed. They just simply can't accept the fact that everything they know might actually be wrong and it terrifies them. Amazing, isn't it?
