The Xythos was never designed to fire a live round through it. It was designed to fire a "blank" cap only.
...Also, the flame that comes out of the end of the barrel on these little collectors items (they are no longer made) can be dangerous, so please don't aim it at anything you care about.

@joedec123 If they stated it fired live ammo it would make it harder to import. The live ammo will not hurt the 2mm pistol in anyway. Trust me I have fired well over 800 rounds threw mine.

@JuneYankee Ow no not at all full cans of pop are very fun to shoot at with the 2mm try to hit the can from 5 feet back its fun.

@joedec123 I have shot hundreds of rounds threw mine & never had a problem. Keep it clean with light oil. Get the empty shells out right away so they don't stick.

i would think if u tried to shoot at an unopen soda can the round will just ricochet off the can and that could be dangerous.

Why do they say never to use live ammo in the Xythos?

@joedec123 It's not designed for the explosive power of a live round. After enough live roungs being shot through it, the revolver portion of the xythos will have to be replaced. Guess that's why they ship 2 revolver parts with the gun.

@eljanio Wait... so if the 2mm gun isnt meant to fire live ammo.. where do you buy it? do you use a blank and make your own bullet? It's the only thing stopping me from getting one...
