True some 85% of them abandoned thier faith over the last 150 years as many other in NE India, but didnt left most of their tredition (other then head hunting).

Regarding being Nagas, it is a problem to say, as for exemple, the Konyaks are relativs of the Boro/Kachari/Garo/Tripuri originally tibetians, while southeren Nagas related to some burmi tribes.

After visiting again in Nagaland last week i have to say that i have a differant opinion.

they are grate people

You'll be surprised to know, but dogs are being eaten by Chinese, Koreans, Philippines, Thai, Lais & most of the non Islamic Asians, as well as manipurs and mizo people in India.

That is not a reason to like or dislike people.

The naga people are grate people, very hospitable and welcoming worm people

As the photographer of this movie, a writer of a book about NE India and one of the only travel guide to NE I should know

@KOGAWA Most Meitei are Vaishnav Hindus and they do not eat dogs. The hill tribes of Manipur; Naga, Kuki, paite might be a different matter.

You absolutely correct about most Manipur (other the Nagas in the north part of manipur.

Regarding Nagaland it's a different thing.

How are we to judge other people's culture?

Wasn't the western "modern culture" the society that killed so many innocent people in the name of modernization?
