  • You need to blast the US Chamber of commerce because they are out to shut down Net Neutrality

  • right on audax :)

  • I apologize for the amount of responses that I've had to make in order to get my message across. YouTube's comment character limit set me back.

  • Limiting the Internet goes against all the things the Internet was built off of: namely freedom. As citizens of the USA, we are entitled to that freedom by the First Amendment - limiting the Internet would only tear apart what that Amendment stands for.

  • There are plenty of great websites out there that aren't based on a massive budget; especially open-source projects. Instating a limited Internet we be a massive blow to the economy; it would be web designers out of work, small businesses would collapse, many jobs would be lost, etc. It would allow for the only true outlet for true uncensored news to be, well, censored by limiting its accessibility.

  • Saying that data is "premium" just because it is put on the "fast lane" of the limited Internet doesn't mean it's premium content; it just means that the owners of the website had enough money to pay to the ISPs to be put in that fast lane.

  • Internet providers don't have a right to apportion their bandwidth in this case due to the fact that it conflicts with the First Amendment of the Constitution. There is no such thing as "standard" and "premium" Internet data; when it comes down to it, it's all just a matter of ones and zeros.

  • You directly contradict yourself when you state that instating a law that provides grounds for Net Neutrality would be a blow to Internet freedom by saying that Internet providers have a right to apportion their bandwidth.

  • sorry.. who wants net neutrality? surely this vid is not promoting it? no, it is offering a means for people to generate enough power to turn net neutrality into net power.... what's the problem?

  • Any law enforcing 'Net Neutrality' would be a terrible blow to Internet freedom. Internet providers have a right to apportion their bandwidth between standard and premium Internet data. 'Net Neutrality' laws would forcibly prevent network owners from selling innovative services to their customers, Shame on Microsoft and Google for trying to deny their competitors the freedom that has made the Internet great.
