BF3 Tutorial: How to dogfight

This is a video I made in which I explain how to win a dogfight.

Summarised it is quite simple, see him before he sees you and be able to turn quicker then he does.

- In order to see him as early as possible I use Air Radar (as you can see in the video)
- In order to turn quicker I brake and use my afterburner while turning (a speed around 300 is the fastest for turns)

@skaterobban w:gas, s:brake, a:left, d: right, left arrow: roll left, right arrow: roll right, up arrow: dive (nose down), down arrow: go up (nose up)

First time i got a thunderbolt in a rush game: 1 helicopter disabled,50points. it fell out of the sky and then another 100 points for killing the guy when it bkew up. Then 100 for a kill after a ten minute dogfight. Ever since then, i've been playing BF3 soloely for jets... I do love the grond warfare though, but the air combat makes it like 2 games in one.

@27YinYang actually that works when you're about 100 meters away from your target. That's where your bullets will be.

One last thing, on Caspian Border be careful of the support wires for the tower/antenna, they will cut you up like katana through butter.

@27YinYang just put the dot of the circle on your target. It's called the pipper and it automatically calculates the amount of lead (the one that sounds like leed) needed to hit your target.

If you roll pull up and rudder at the same time, you get a nice wide barrel roll. This is really helpful if the enemy is right on your ass, as this will put you behind him/her. Yes, girls can play Battlefield. I am a guy, just saying so you don't get the wrong idea.

The only problem I have is with another good player in a jet, when we enter a dogfight ir resorts to us just spinning around and around for ages..... any tips?
