The german soldier was like all other soldiers..all they wanted was to go home. They served their country like anyother person would have served theirs. I have meet many WW2 German vets (here is the USA), Army, AF, and Navy and they are no differnat then any other veterans of war. I meet Adolf Gallion, Gunter Rall and a few other fighter pilots. Meet one of the few Battleship Bismark servivers, a gentile good man. Meet another sailor, a U-Boat captian, but cannot remember his name.
