He covers the vent holes (the ones producing the low G sound) on both sides of the chanter with his thighs. Tried it but the sound wasn't really good ;)

Great stuff. Always been my ambition to play the pipes, but think am now too old...got as far a buying a chanter though..lol!

Flawless piping as always by Stuart Liddell! Wonder what's the title of the last tune with all this note bending?

The last tune is "The Galtee Rangers" and it's in Bill Livingstone's Book 1. The tune was played a lot by Bruce Gandy in the 80s when he was with the 78th Frasers. I think it's on the "Live in Ireland" CD.
